Lutfi Kinansyah Pramaditia, Ambassador of Indonesia in the International Youth Organization
KOPI, Young achievers that Lutfi Pramaditia Kinansyah figure representing Indonesia at the Forum Asia Pacific Exchange and Leadership Development Seminar (APXLDS) 2011 in Vietnam. Elected as a member and active in international organizations, for the younger generation must be very proud.
Intelligence and intellect to be held as ambassadors of this, of course affect the surrounding environment. In daily life, the journey of the ambassadors will be inspired and boosters for the people around him to excel for his homeland.
This young man from Bandung, with 18 colleagues from various universities mewakil Indonesia in 2011 APXLDS forum organized by the Association Internationale des Sciences Économiques en Étudiants et Commerciales (AIESEC) in Vietnam on 18-30 March 2011 then.
To the author, Student Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), Department of Geodesy, Geomatics was told its activities in the organization AIESEC. Organization established in 1948 which later drove him to represent Indonesia in international forums attended by 257 participants from 20 countries in Asia Pacific and Europe. Here's the full excerpt:
How did you initially follow AIESEC?
I joined AIESEC since 2009 so it was almost two years, initially just a fad it, apply it before entering the AIESEC is the selection, so I went along. Though I have no idea what AIESEC is the organization. I participate in the selection that consists of the selection form, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), it was the last interview of the three stages of selection. About 600 of those who apply, only 50 of those who received and I am one of them.
Initially still shocked, confused why I received when my English was not that good at all when compared to others. Continue finally slowly I follow, and in fact this organization is also exciting.
Why are you interested in attending AIESEC?
Firstly because I see this organization different from other organizations, I think I'll be fluent in English. But it was in this organization we are accustomed to meet with people who do the exchange from outside, eg German, Dutch, etc., which for two months they live in Bandung, to work as volunteers in NGOs and is active in the organization. In addition, culture of this organization, where here I can really enjoy and fun, but still work professionally.
Because AIESEC is an international organization, so what are we doing here together with AIESEC who are abroad, of course, with adaptation to local cultures, so many lessons I can take, and here other than we are challenged to become leaders, but we are also given the opportunity to gain international experience, especially in terms of leadership.
Your first experience in AIESEC?
My first experience in AIESEC, became chairman of the committee during an event that is big enough but the staff that I have only seven people and with a team consisting of eight people including me. Finally I could make a pretty big event and give impact to the people. I feel, when entering the professional world, I would not be surprised that now confront globalization is an issue in the world of work.
And here I thought, if only everyone could get a similar experience as I did, I believe the young men in Indonesia are able to compete in the international arena.
You are in AIESEC activities include what are they?
In AIESEC chance now I was Controller Manager job in finance so all kinds. Control of the organization's financial situation, control the policies of the organization of quality control-quality project will be undertaken by AIESEC Bandung etc.
Actually, the main activity of our organization is to bring people out here and sending people out here, but I'm not a coincidence that section. It wants to study finance so it adds quite a plus, but my kids understand financial engineering.
Can tell us about what is discussed in Vietnam?
All kinds. There are issues of leadership, social entrepreneurs, business (Asia Pacific Youth Forum), and cultural understanding.
You have a special mission?
For sure we want to expand the network, because with our expanding network, it will facilitate the activities we will do in this organization. Activities we are sending young men students of Bandung in Indonesia, especially overseas, with the aim of learning and professional development of academic knowledge and skills in a global environment, in this case Asia Pacific.
Output for those who do exchange (our program called exchange) is they get a life-changing experience, global perspective, etc.. Of course, bringing the name of Indonesia in the Asia Pacific arena.
Contributions given the Indonesian delegation to the forum?
Based on the issues discussed, the issue of social entrepreneurship, we are challenged to contribute to innovation to solve the problem, which we simulate as companies that want to develop a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), and we develop a CSR program, where the program is to give something useful and positive course for the community in terms of cultural understanding.
There is that there is such thing as Global Village, so each country's opening stand, and the booth that contains the hallmark of these countries, we display the typical foods of the Padang, Central Java, etc.. Then there's the puppet, and we also do performances that Saman Dance in front of all students in Vietnam who attended and delegates APXLDS.
For the leadership, a lot of methods that they give, where these methods can enhance our spirit to lead and how can we be good leaders.
There are barriers?
Obstacles? there are no barriers that impede truly. But definitely all the participants are students and there we were taught to do time management and effeciency, where we set ourselves to offset between the study and organization.
Your opinion about the role of Indonesia's young generation in the International scene?
Interesting! I see more and more active generation of young Indonesian who brought the good name of Indonesia on the international scene such as competitions in science, technology, or business a lot of our representatives who won these competitions. But unfortunately not a few who did they participate only for the 'prestige' or prestige alone in my opinion too bad.
If they show their competence there, it would be nice is a real implementation is done after they return to Indonesia. Or for example, people pay money ticket circled looking for sponsors of millions of dollars, continue to go abroad, continue to come back to Indonesia but why not-doing, so energy and money spent in my opinion it's useless, but really, I am proud of those who won international competitions certainly was difficult for me to just not be able.
Men born in Bandung, 27 April 1989 was able to prove himself as one of the best sons of the nation. Humility is the son of the couple Ki Agus Dekayani Lutfi Lutfi and it does not necessarily make it low self-esteem in young men hadapann at international forums.
Said words have capital straightforward, friendly personality, confidence and supported by strong idealism, alumni SMAN 4 Bandung was able to inspire the young generation of Indonesia.
